Trail runners happy with six top-20 places

A TEAM of 13 Haldon Trail Runners took part in the Templar Ten race in Kingsteignton with six members finishing in the top 20 in the field of 231.

Paul Sadler was first back in with a time of 1.01.25 and ninth place overall and second prize in the M40 category.

Matthew Atkins (12th) was just 12 seconds behind Sadler in 1.01.37.

Dave Rosser romped home in 1.02.49, grabbing 15th place.

Alex Watkins (17th) finished in 1.03.14 and Martin McEneny (19th) took more than two minutes off his best in 1.03.49.

Other finishers were Harvey Dann (20th) in 1.04.07, Nick Warren (34th) in 1.07.05, Nathan White (37th) in 1.07.27, Rob Wright (39th) in 1.08.01, Anthea Whittaker (64th) 1.11.14, Steve O'Donoghue (90th) in 1.15.13 and Anna Caunter (113th) in 1.20.32.

Jim Mouat, running in the V65 category came home in 1.24.55 for 136th place overall.
