Training sessions give advice on farm offices
THE skills needed in a farm office is the topic for a series of training evenings for hill farmers in North Devon.
Experts will explain how to maintain the nerve centre of the business, collecting, processing, storing and communicating information from relevant external organisations.
The strengths of two different farm office systems, both paper based and computer based, will feature to help understand why they work for the people involved in that busi-ness. This will be concluded by a talk from Martin Heal of Cannington College to help gain new ideas for a farm office.
