Trial set for man who denies killing baby
An Exeter man has denied the murder of a ten-month-old baby.
James Hunt, 27, of Pellinore Road, was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to the murder of Kimberley Barrett in the city on December 29 last year.

Judge Francis Gilbert QC, Recorder of the City of Exeter, adjourned the case for a trial scheduled for April in front of a High Court judge.
He set a timetable for the exchange of prosecution and defence papers and ordered that the baby's body should be released on January 31. He also extended custody time limits to allow Hunt to remain on remand.
