Tyre lorry fire
TWO lanes of the M5 were closed after a lorry carrying tyres caught fire on the northbound carriageway.
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service received several calls from motorists just after 5am on Friday.
Four fire engine pumps and a water carrier attended the incident, near Junction 26 at Wellington.
There were no reports of any injuries but the clean-up operation caused delays.
