U's find form in Trophy run
OXFORD have reached the southern section quarter-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with two impressive victories.
The U's won 1-0 at home to nearby rivals Swindon Town in the first round on September 5.
Midfielder Alfie Potter scored the only goal of the game in the 88th minute, as nearly 8,000 fans flocked to the Kassam stadium for the clash.
That win earned Oxford an away tie against Cheltenham Town in round two on October 9 and they won 4-2.

They trailed 2-1 at half-time, despite a goal from Tom Craddock, but hit back strongly after the break. Harry Worley, James Constable and Peter Leven were all on target as Oxford moved into the last 16 of the competition.
Argyle had a bye in the JPT first round before beating Aldershot Town 2-1 at Home Park on October 9, with goals from Paris Cowan-Hall and Andres Gurrieri.
