VIDEO: Latest single for band These Reigning Days shot at Croyde
THIS is the video that Bristol-based band These Reigning Days shot on Croyde beach because it had “the best sunsets in the country.”
The video for their latest single “Living it Up” was shot last month, and stirred up a lot of interest from beach goers, who were treated to a live outdoor performance.
Journal photographer Rob Tibbles, was out for an evening beach stroll when he came across the band.

“You see quite a lot of strange things on the beach,” he said, “but this was one of the more unsuspected.
“I was just walking home from the village when I came across this band blaring out.
“They chose the perfect night for it, the sunset was amazing.”
The band, who played at this year’s Glastonbury, and have been a support act to Bon Jovi, chose Croyde to film the video as they needed a “beautiful shooting location.”
Sarah Woodward, the bands manager said: “The reason we chose Croyde was because we needed a spectacular sunset and a beautiful location for a happy, upbeat summer song called Living It Up.
“Croyde is West facing so gets the best Sunsets.”
The band are playing a gig tonight at The Palladium in Bideford.
