Vandals set fire to 20ft-high straw man
Vandals destroyed a 20ft tall straw man standing outside a shop in Somerset by setting it on fire.
The attack happened at North Perrott, in the Crewkerne area last Thursday night and police are now appealing for information.
The sculpture was created for the North Perrot Farm Shop's annual apple day, which is to be held on Saturday.
Made from hay and wood, the structure was created by the shop owner's niece and positioned in the field opposite the farm shop.
