Vehicle 'left the scene' after smashing into car on A38 at Chudleigh
Police are hunting for a dark coloured vehicle which allegedly collided with a car on the A38 this
afternoon.

A silver Alfa Romeo was heading along the A38 at Chudleigh when a car is reported to have hit the back of the vehicle, causing the Alfa Romeo to collide with the central reservation and spin off the carriageway.
The collision occurred near the Chudliegh Knighton turn off heading towards Plymouth at 1:45pm.

The female driver was found walking wounded at the scene and is being attended to by paramedics.
A police spokesman said: "We are searching for the driver of a dark vehicle who is believed to have struck the Alfa Romeo causing it to spin.
"The vehicle left the scene and we are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact police."
