Vodafone signal problems continue for North Devon customers
VODAFONE customers across North Devon are still suffering from a lack of network coverage despite the firm's claims that a problem with masts in the area has been fixed.
Last week Vodafone told the Journal it was "waiting for a part" to fix a problem at several of its sites in North Devon. After the Journal had gone to print, a spokesman said the problem had been fixed.

But that doesn't appear to be true, with large numbers of customers in North Devon still reporting problems.
Musician Greg Butler, 27, said he became a Vodafone customer for a second time earlier this year having left them some years ago because the company's coverage was poor.

He returned after promises Vodafone had improved its coverage. But he says that hasn't been the case. "Since then all I've encountered is problems and excuses," he said.
He has been told "it's probably your phone" and that Vodafone "cannot guarantee indoor signal".
"Vodafone have, on occasion, given me money off my tariff, but the price of my contract isn't the problem. I pay that money because I want a network that works, not a cheap one that doesn't."
The same Vodafone spokesman said on Tuesday that despite repairs taking place, they had not "worked perfectly".
He said there was still a problem with the 3G signal in North Devon, which they had thought the repairs had fixed.
