PAIGNTON Lions Club has released a 'sister' to its free Message in a Bottle.

The group has already given away 30,000 bottles designed to hold vital medical and contact information.

Now the club is distributing a message in a wallet, designed to fit the same information in a plastic wallet which is easily carried in a purse or handbag.

Alan Walker, club spokesman, (pictured) said: "The initial service is designed for use in the home and holds relevant medical and contact details of relatives to help emergency services should they need to attend.

"The message in a wallet holds the same amount of information, but is made to be carried with you at all times.

"It is a clear plastic packet, the size of a bus pass, and fits easily into a wallet or purse."

The wallets can be picked up from Gilbert's pets and garden shop in the St Marychurch precinct and the Lions are looking for more venues.

Mr Walker said: "It's a service useful for anyone of any age.

"Be safe, not sorry," he said.
