West End stars to host workshop for young
STAR-struck youngsters have a chance to perform alongside West End celebrities at a workshop next weekend.
Young people aged 7 to 17 will learn scenes from the musical Wicked and its well-known song, Loathing, at the workshops with West End stars Nikki Davis-Jones and Claire Cassidy.
The workshops in Plymouth and Ivybridge are on Saturday and Sunday, and the youngsters will perform for parents and family at the end of the weekend.
Nikki Davis-Jones is starring in Lift the musical in the West End after playing Elphaba, the lead in Wicked.

Her other West End credits include Mamma Mia and Blood Brothers.
Claire Cassidy will be joiningNikki to teach the students. She is the resident choreographer for West End Experience and West End Stage.
Claire has starred in Mamma Mia and Les Miserables in the West End, as well as being a leading casting director.
On a normal weekend children at Stagecoach would be learning an hour each of dance, drama and singing in their own separate age groups.
Principal Frances May said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn from absolutely top star performers."
The workshops are open to youngsters from Stagecoach but there are ten additional places open to any enthusiastic 7-17-year-old.
There will be a small cost for the additional ten places.
