Witness appeal following car crash which injured six people
An appeal for witnesses has been issued by police after a serious collision in the Ilminster area.
Police were called to the collision between a Vauxhall Astra, containing one person and a Vauxhall Corsa containing five people, at about 10.40pm on Saturday October 6 on the B3168 at Bay Hill near Dillington.

The police helicopter and an air sea rescue helicopter attended to assist with the six casualties.
Police closed the road to allow a detailed examination of the scene.

The road was re-opened shortly before 6am on Sunday.
The woman driver of the Astra - the sole occupant - was taken to Frenchay Hospital with a serious head injury and remains in a stable condition.
The driver of the Corsa, a woman, was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with multiple life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.
The passenger, a man, was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with non life-threatening chest injuries.
Two 15-year-old boys who were travelling in the rear of the car were taken to Frenchay and Yeovil District hospitals. Their condition is not reported to be life threatening.
A six-month-old baby who was also travelling in the Corsa was released after receiving medical treatment.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued by the police's collision investigation unit.
