Women's football round-up
SOUTH WEST COMBINATION Argyle Ladies...4 Newquay...0
ARGYLE Ladies stretched their winning sequence to five matches and remained unbeaten this season.
The game against Cornish rivals Newquay was something of a routine victory, and had it not been for some poor finishing the goal tally would have been much greater.
Argyle almost scored in their first attack, but Emily Mousley failed to get proper contact on the ball from close in and it bobbled into the keeper's hands.

Argyle took the lead on 20 minutes when Laura Perrett headed a precise Becca Rose corner in at the far post.
It remained 1-0 to Argyle at the break, but a two-goal burst inside the first five minutes of the second half effectively ended Newquay's hopes.
The second goal was set up by Chloe Bassett as she slipped a nice pass to Rose who picked her spot from 16 yards.
The third, two minutes later, came courtesy of a great right wing cross from Ellie Dorey that found the head of Mousley, who nodded in from five yards.
It was Mousley who made the fourth – her driven cross from the left was turned into her own goal by Kirsty Lang.
WESTERN DIVISION Illogan...1 Marine Academy...4
MARINE Academy returned from the long journey to Illogan with all three points, following a typically determined performance.
MAP started the brighter side, putting pressure on the home team's defence from the first whistle.
Fifteen minutes into the game the deadlock was broken with a thunderous volley into the top corner of the Illogan net by Sam Drewery after superb build-up play.
This spurred the visitors to increase their tempo in search go another goal.
On the half hour, their hard work paid off when Sophie Smith cut inside her defender and curled her shot past the Illogan keeper.
Illogan had their chances to pull a goal back, but MAP's defence dealt with the pressure until five minutes before the break, when Julie Lawrence scored.
The second half was a repeat of the first with the visitors trying to break down the Illogan defence.
Georgie Talbot made it 3-1 when she nicked home a Drewery corner.
