Work ongoing to restore normal rail service between Exeter St Davids and Stoke Canon
Work is ongoing to restore normal services between Exeter St Davids and Stoke Canon following flood damage which occurred in November.
A substiantial portion of the work was due to be completed this morning but the current 20mph speed restriction through the area will remain as there is substantial follow up work to be completed.

First Great Western will continue to operate a revised train plan as published prioritising the reinstatement of Barnstaple Branch services.
So far, there have been 137 cancellations, including 90 train services part cancelled since the services were disrupted by flooding.
