Youngsters share in the glory of a BAFTA win
Westcountry cast members who appeared in a unique film with scenes shot in the Westcountry, were basking in the glory of a BAFTA win as they went back to school yesterday, after Sunday night's awards ceremony in London.
As reported in yesterday's Western Morning News, the film Swimmer, by acclaimed British director Lynne Ramsay, was crowned Best Short Film at the glittering ceremony on Sunday.

The 17-minute black-and- white movie focuses on the journey of a wild swimmer, and was filmed on location at Burrator Reservoir and at Spitchwick Common on Dartmoor.
It stars several children from Devon and Cornwall who won parts after auditions that were held at the Holiday Inn in Plymouth.

Nine-year-old Jasper Martin, who lives at Tideford, and goes to Sir Robert Geffery's School in Landrake, carried out two days of filming for the movie, as did locals Sam Hockday and Kit Johnson. Bill Martin, Jasper's father and editor of the WMN, said: "I think it's fantastic for everyone who's involved – it was brilliant for Burrator."
Jasper and Sam were two of four Stagecoach drama students chosen to take part in the film, alongside Joshua Colman and Tasadzwa Tandi.
Frances May, principal of Stagecoach Plymouth, said: "They all had a great day of filming and were incredibly professional.
"I'm incredibly proud and each of them is delighted in his own way."
Ramsay, who received worldwide attention for her adaptation of Lionel Shriver's novel We Need To Talk About Kevin, filmed for a total of four days on Dartmoor last autumn.
Meanwhile, Juno Temple, a former pupil of King's College in Taunton and Enmore Primary School, near Bridgwater, was crowned the EE Rising Star 2013.
