Stephane Zubar will bring versatility as new defender for Plymouth Argyle
ARGYLE manager Peter Reid has hailed the versatility that Stephane Zubar will bring to his squad at Home Park.
The 23-year-old French defender was signed on an initial one-month contract, before the transfer window closed last night.

But he will put pen to paper on a longer term deal when the League One club receive international clearance for him.
Had they not done it that way, the Pilgrims would not have been able to sign him after the transfer window slammed shut.
Zubar had a trial with Argyle during pre-season, and impressed Reid, but his financial terms could not be agreed upon.
That has now changed, and Zubar trained with the Pilgrims' squad at UCP Marjon yesterday.
Zubar played in the first half of Argyle's 1-1 pre-season draw away to Queens Park Rangers on July 30.
Reid said: "He's a right-back who can play in a few positions. He's a strong boy and he impressed me in the summer, but we couldn't do the deal.
"I couldn't afford it then, but the deal has changed now so I'm delighted. He did very well in the game against QPR."
Zubar came highly recommended to Reid by Mick McCarthy, the manager or Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The defender, born in Guadeloupe, had trained with Wolves before starting his trial at Argyle.
Zubar's brother, Ronald, is part of the Wolves squad.
Reid said: "It was a recommendation off Mick McCarthy, who is a big pal of mine.
"He (Zubar) was training with them before he came to us."
Zubar spent last season with Romanian top flight club Vaslui, playing in 36 league games for them.
So Argyle will need international clearance from the football authorities in Romania, as well as France, for Zubar.
He started his professional career with French club Caen, and had loan spells with Pau and FC Brussels in Belgium, before moving to Vaslui, who were Romanian Cup runners-up last season.
