Welcome to Exmoor Zoo

Here at Exmoor zoo our aim is to let you get up close and personal to our residents. We have various opportunities meet the animals with our handling sessions. We find this is the best way to learn more about the animals and reptiles we play host to.

Since opening in 1982 our zoo has seen many animals come through our doors. Starting with just a small farm and bird garden, the zoo now has many exotic and interesting residents. Most recently we have seen the introduction of 2 adorable Arabian sand cats, some very lively Pekin Robins and a stunning Caracal to name a few.
