“ I love brightening up my day with a visit to Froot Loop. Every one who comes to eat there is so lovely and Chloe (the owner) creates a little ray of sunshine with her charm, décor and of course food, drinks and energy! As for the secret garden, who would think such a beautiful garden would exists on Mill Street, but it does. It is an oasis of nature, art and pretty views of church spires. My life is definitely more sociable because of Froot loop, but also there is enough space in the garden and shop to have a quiet cuppa too. ”

“Everyone in my family loves Froot Loop too (including the dog cos she can come in the secret garden at the back again now the family of eight ducks that hatched there have been released on the river) and if you haven't used the Bideford People vouchers (just print them off here) then do; we took our visitors out this week and because we had a sweet potato dish we got half-price cake! yummy! plus the vouchers let us upgrade the size of the smoothies we ordered. It's a great idea and a brilliant way of supporting local businesses...thank you Bideford People and Froot Loop!!!”

“I can't praise this charming cafe highly enough and I'm not surprised it's being called the 'hub' of all that good about living here. The food looks good, tastes great and will make you feel sorry for anyone who's missing out because they think a meal has to include meat. And if you're wondering about the wild life....there's a family of ducklings squatting out back garden where they have free run of owner Chloe's lovely garden including their very own wee pond. This place couldn't be more charming if it tried!”

“Froot Loop cafe has such a friendly vibe that you won't want to leave!
The owner sources most of her produce from local, seasonal and organic suppliers. She also stocks Illy coffee, and certainly knows how to make a fine latte or cappuccino. Her smoothies are delicious, as is the food on her extensive menu (not to mention the cakes!).
A wide range of vegan, vegetarian as well as gluten and dairy free options are available. I would definitely recommend the veggie breakfast!
And if the sun is shining don't forget the secret garden out back, where you can relax and forget you are in town...”

“Froot loop not only has the best name of all the cafes in Bideford, but it also does the best cake! And really nice smoothies and juices too. My friend has a dairy intolerance and finds it difficult to find places that cater for that (lots of people are intolerant of her intolerance!), but this place seems to be used to providing for allergies etc and are so friendly about it. We both love it here. ”
