Exeter Chiefs have changed their entire starting XV for today's LV= Cup match with Bath at the Recreation Ground.

The Devon club have been severely tested in recent weeks with Aviva Premiership matches against Gloucester, Bath and Northampton Saints coming before Heineken Cup games against Clermont Auvergne and Leinster.

Chiefs will look to utilise their squad for this weekend's fixture. And that means a complete new-look starting line-up from that which faced Leinster a week ago.

Skippering the side and set to make his first-ever competitive start for the Chiefs is summer signing Kai Horstmann, who has now fully recovered from a hamstring injury.

Also set to make his debut for the club is Fijian wing Watisoni Votu, who after a protracted visa process, is finally ready to unleash his attacking talents.

England Under-20s starlets Jack Nowell, Sam Hill, Henry Slade and Luke Cowan-Dickie all start, while there is plenty of experience around the park in the shape of Nic Sestaret, Craig Mitchell, Damian Welch and Ben White.

Chiefs coach Ricky Pellow said: "Some of the senior guys have not played for a while but have been very professional in their approach to the training week and they will now get the chance to get out there with a ball in their hands.

"Kai is a great man to have around the club. Obviously, he has been injured for a long time and it has been frustrating for him but he has dropped straight back into training, as if he hasn't been away."

Exeter Chiefs: Nowell; Votu, Sestaret, Hill, Tatupu; Slade, Chudley; Rimmer, L Cowan-Dickie, Mitchell; Carrick-Smith, Welch; Conlon, White, Horstmann (capt). Replacements: Yeandle, Budgen, Brown, Blanchet, Simmonds, Poluleuligaga, Dorrian, Foster.
