Two in court to face charge of man's murder
Two men have appeared in court charged with murder following an incident on a Somerset housing estate.
Michael McGinty, 55, of Peony Road, Langport, and Lee McGinty, 25, of no fixed address, are jointly accused of the murder of 35-year-old Paul Retallick at Langport, between Saturday, September 15 and Monday, September 17.
The men spoke only to confirm their name, age and address when they appeared in South Somerset Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Police launched a murder investigation after the body of Mr Retallick, of Yeovil, was discovered on Sunday night. A post-mortem test revealed he had died from head injuries.

Officers attended the scene in Iris Way at about 8.45pm. The property is believed to be the home of Heidi McGinty, the former partner of Mr Retallick.
Michael McGinty is father to Heidi McGinty. Lee McGinty is her brother, the court heard.
Magistrates sent the case to Bristol Crown Court and remanded the defendants in custody. The pair will appear by video link today.
