Bryan James Bouchier, 66, of no fixed address, was ordered to pay £100 in court fees and fines after admitting being drunk and incapable in a public place, Kennedy Way, Tiverton, on August 5.

Mitchell James Davis, 20, of the Amber Foundation, Chawleigh, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Crediton High Street on May 29, two charges of committing an offence while being subject to a conditional discharge, and failing to surrender to bail. He was detained in the courthouse for a period of time in lieu of a fine.

Lee David Stynes, 27, of Fore Street, Silverton, admitted using threatening words or behaviour towards Darrell Marillier on June 30, assaulting Anthony Tinnion on May 6 and stealing a purse and its contents on July 30. Sentence was adjourned and Stynes was ordered not to contact the victim or enter Sidwell Street, Exeter, unless he wanted to access an NHS walk-in centre.

Shane Dale Bunce, 38, of Churchill Road, Exmouth, has admitted being in possession of 15.59g of heroin in the town on August 7 and 4.18g of the drug on July 23. The case was adjourned for sentencing.

Alan Alexander Donnachie, 43, of Alphington Street, Exeter, was jailed for four months after admitting breaching the terms of an anti-social behaviour order by entering the Co-op store in Haven Road on June 13. He also admitted stealing chicken from the store and assaulting PC Shaun Wallis by spitting in his eye. The court heard he had breached his ASBO on eight previous occasions.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Daniel Jones, 18, of no fixed address, after he failed to appear for sentencing for being drunk and disorderly in the Strand, Exmouth, on July 2 and damaging a glass panel worth £1,000 at the Imperial Hotel, Exmouth.

Elisabeth MacLaughlin, 45, of Ash Leigh, Alphington, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on August 8. She was bailed to be sentenced at a later date.

Sarah Jane Cassidy, 20, of the Travellers Site, Gapton Hall Road, Great Yarmouth, admitted stealing cosmetics and hair products worth £102 from Boots in Exeter High Street on August 7, driving a white Ford Transit on the same day in Alphington Road without insurance, driving dangerously and failing to stop the vehicle for a police officer. She also admitted committing the offences while the subject of a conditional discharge. She was bailed to appear at Exeter Crown Court for sentence.

Amy Sheppard, 21, of Albion Street, Exeter, was jailed for four months after admitting assaulting another woman and using threatening words or behaviour on July 30. The court heard that Sheppard had chased, punched and kicked her victim.

Andrew Killen, 48, of Red Lion Lane, Exeter, admitted causing £200 damage to a Daihatsu Extol van on June 2. He was made the subject of a community order and ordered to pay £60 compensation.

Martyn Dance, 28, of Smythen Street, Exeter, was found guilty of assaulting another man on April 8. He was remanded on bail for sentencing at a later date.

Daniel Robert Evans, 19, of Farm Hill, Exeter, admitted stealing two bottles and four cans of Strongbow cider worth £8 from a Co-op store in Haven Road on June 11 and using offensive words or behaviour with intent to threaten violence. Sentencing was adjourned and Evans was ordered not to contact staff at the store or enter Haven Road until his next court appearance.
