Fire crew attend chimney fire in Torrington
A FIRE crew arrived at a property in Torrington this afternoon after reports of a chimney fire.
The crew from Torrington confirmed the chimney, at the property in St Giles, St Giles in the Wood, was alight at 3.30pm.
The fire had been started by a wood burner in the property.
The crew used a thermal image camera to track the fire and used a hose reel to extinguish it, the blaze was confirmed as being extinguished by 4.40pm.
