Four draw designs to win prizes
FOUR secondary school pupils have won prizes in a Christmas card contest run by a construction firm
The quartet from Tor Bridge High School in Estover were recognised for their designs – two of which are featuring in Kier Group's company-wide e-Advent calendar.
Kier Western, which is mid-way through building Tor Bridge's new school, invited Year 7 students to enter the national competition. The entries had to be on the theme of a green or a safe Christmas.
Britanie Toy's eye-catching use of recycled materials in a colourful Christmas tree design won her the first prize of a £50 gift token.

Kallum Hoskin was runner-up, winning a £25 for his use of graphics to spell out his cheery Green Christmas message.
Kieran Sullivan and Ashleigh Roberts both received £10 consolation prizes.
Kier Western's construction manager, Steve Rosewell, said: "Britanie, Kallum, Ashleigh and Kieran have created some stunning designs and it's great we can show the rest of Kier what artistic talent we have in Plymouth."
