Top economist is lined up to deliver lecture
One of the founding members of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee is to speak at a lecture to be held by the Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum's fundraising Development Trust.
Economist Sir Alan Budd will deliver his address – When Will it All End? – at the museum next Thursday.
The event will conclude with a questions and answers session, when there will be an opportunity for delegates to meet Sir Alan and network at an informal drinks reception.
Sir Alan Budd was most recently chairman of the Office for Budget Responsibility when it was set up in 2010 and between 1999 and 2008, was provost of Queen's College, Oxford.
