A MARTIAL arts instructor says he hopes to turn Witheridge Parish Hall into a sparring gym for regular tae kwon do classes.

Last Friday, Devon and Somerset tae kwon do gave a demonstration of the Korean martial art in the village hall.

Instructor Wayne Sibthorpe, who currently runs classes in Dulverton and Bampton, says he hopes to begin running regular classes in Witheridge from September 20.
