IT firm receives prestigious accreditation
A DARTMOUTH based IT firm has achieved ISO9001 accreditation after months of hard work and committing itself to constant improvement.
Apollo IT specialises in computer support for businesses across the South West, in addition to helping with local computer issues.
The purpose of ISO9001:2008 is to assure customers that companies can provide quality products and services.
Michael Freeman, managing director, said: "We are delighted we made it, and special thanks go to Kathy Keatley, our office manager, for her determination to ensure our systems are the best they can be."

"Like many local businesses, Apollo is very aware of the need to re-invent itself and constantly improve.
"ISO has given us the tools to make this business the best it can be with a new competitive advantage, and new opportunities. Just being experts is not enough to survive anymore. You have to ensure service and standards are always improving. Ensuring your staff are properly trained sounds obvious in principle, but ISO helps us do it better."
"Many businesses could benefit from ISO. It isn't the paperwork monster many believe it to be. New habits are quickly formed because you quickly see the benefits. We can all run our businesses better, and it's a very rewarding journey. Yes it's hard work – but if it wasn't, everyone would be doing it."
Apollo IT started its ISO journey in March 2012, and was externally audited in late October. Wiltshire based ISO experts, IMSM Ltd provided coaching and guidance throughout.
