MORE food fairs will be held at Tiverton Pannier Market next year, following the success of an event at the weekend.

From exotic olives and nuts to locally reared-meat, there was plenty to see and taste at the second food fair of the year and organisers hope to make such events even more frequent in 2013.

Despite road closures for the Remembrance Sunday parade through the centre of Tiverton, organisers of the winter food and drink fair held in the market building said they remained largely unaffected.

Market manager Chris Firth said some people had come early for the event which ran from 10am until 3pm on Sunday, and drew gastronomes from Exeter, Taunton and surrounding areas.
