Do you know this woman? Fourteen steaks hidden under hood of pram

Police have released CCTV images of a woman they are trying to trace in connection with the theft of more than a dozen sirloin steaks from a Plympton shop.

A woman entered the Co-op in Glen Road on January 17 with a small child and a buggy.

After wandering around she selected 14 sirloin steaks from a fridge cabinet and concealed them under the buggy hood before leaving the store.

Police have now released CCTV images as part of an appeal for information and are asking anyone who recognises the woman to contact them.

The suspect is described as early 30s, around 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build.

She had brown hair with red streaks and was wearing a black coat, a cream cardigan and blue jeans.

The offence happpened at around 2.30pm and anybody with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference EP/13/55.
