Your letters: People will turn
In November last year, we were told by the Government that we in the South West would be paying £50 less for our already very expensive water rates.
Now we find we will be, in fact, paying five per cent more.
In my view, this is outrageous. Gary Streeter and all out other MPs, please take this to Parliament and take this up with the powers that be.
People in the South West can ill afford such payments. In my view it really is time to draw a line in the sand.
If people are pushed too far they will eventually turn on their leaders, and I feel this time is fast approaching.
I am amazed at the patience of the public, particularly in the South West.
