If you are on the road tonight just count how many car headlights you see with one light not working or out of alignment or on main beam because the dip only has one lamp.

I made it one in six with faulty lighting.

They are not being set up correctly at the MoT test and the police – if you see a police car at night – are not stopping them for checking.

The blue type lamp should be banned and the idiot with about six lamps on whilst driving around a city with street lighting should be pulled in.

The number of cars that speed across the Tamar bridge and through the tunnel, most with no lights on, is also increasing and there is still not a police car to be seen.
