RICHARD Bawden, Simon Broom and Kevin Newcombe were selected to play for Devon against Durham in the quarter-finals of the Middleton Cup on Saturday at Norgren BC, Warwickshire.
The winners will go on to Worthing for the semi-finals and final on August 28.
Dominic Tuckett, Jeff Pincombe and Broom are through to represent Devon in the triples finals at Worthing in August.

A fun day played between the ladies and men's teams resulted in a convincing win by the men. A trophy in memory of the late Roy Bennett was presented to the men's captain.

THE men's over-60s team played at Okehampton and came away with six points, winning 37-24.
Rink one was made up of skip Ray Smith, D Edworthy and T Wedgwood, while rink two was skip Gill Chown with J Heath and K James.
The ladies sent a team of 12 to play the second round of the Grace Mathews Trophy against Tiverton West End.
The game consisted of one rink, one triple, one pair, one four-wood single and one two-wood single.
The hosts were too strong on the day and Hemyock only won the four-wood single rink, with Sue Trott bowling.
While the ladies were rained off, the men travelled to Cullompton and won overall by 82 shots to 61. Wellington visited Hemyock for a friendly match on Friday — three men's rinks and two ladies' rinks were played.
Hemyock only managed to win one of the five rinks, with skip M Dear, M Baldwin, W Leek and T Wedgwood winning 19-10.
The weekend was busy, with the section two Devon County Ladies Unbadged Singles competition held at Hemyock on Saturday and the preliminary rounds of the club triples competition on Sunday.
For the latter there were eight teams of triples entered and the final will be played on finals day in August.
