Partridge and Heath were two down at the turn, but won the next three holes and the short 14th to set up a 2&1 win.

Defending champions Ray Cavill and Martin Johns secured a semi-final place in the Summer Foursomes with victory over Phil Moore and Duncan Stamp.
The win extended the duo's impressive run in foursomes — they have won the last three summer and winter events.
In the final they will meet Cary Rawlings and Hamish Marshall, who came from behind to beat Mark Want and Mike Thomas by two holes.

Duncan Stamp kept alive his hopes of winning the season-long John Emerton Cup with victory in the latest Midweek Stableford.
