“I assume this was due to an exceptionally high tide assisted by a strong onshore wind rather than a rise in sea level due to global warming!Are the gullies to drains blocked? There seems to be heavy pooling on the landward side of the road.(Have a look at the gully at the bottom of Albion Hill - an example of lax gully cleansing by the local authority.)”
