“ YUM! This is such good Italian and the atmosphere is great. They do a good range of things including the normal pastas, pizzas and steaks and some delicious starters. The meat is, in my experience, always cooked to perfection, and the pizzas and pastas are good quality and made with fresh ingredients. There are a lot of regulars - particularly as I think people don't just pass-by this place, you only get here by word of mouth as it's not obvious from the street - so there's a feeling of comfort and intimacy when you go in. Saying that, it does get busy, so beware! ”

Great Italian food!
“Exmouth does have many different restaurants but i think if you fancy an Italian then Donatos would probably be your best bet. We had some pasta dishes whilst the kids really enjoyed their pizzas. The portions are very good considering the prices are very competitive. ”

Established Eatery
“I always find Donato's a bit disappointing. For an Italian restaurant, there's nothing much Italian about it - where's the passion for food, wine, music, enjoyment? Instead there's a general air of resignation and weariness among the mainly East European staff that contributes to a generally lacklustre experience. That said, the food (particularly the fresh local fish) can be very good, and Donato's does have a devoted regular clientele who clearly appreciate a quiet meal in a civilized, low-key environment.
