“ We had 2 pizzas delivered to us from the Pizza cafe after reading all the wonderful reviews and had high expectations, The pizza's were certainly unique and the flavours were nice, but a little cold, sloppy and soggy for our liking, the pizza's obviously don't travel well for a delivery and maybe our experience would be better if we had eaten in the restaurant. In my opinion they were overloaded with toppings and cheese and the base was soggy, I am a little fussy about my Pizza's and would not chose to order take away from here again, however I would give them a try if I was sitting in and will give them the benefit of the doubt on this occassion as they seems to have a band of loyal customers. Hopefully this was a one off. ”

Better than any other pizza place

“Has a fantastic variety of pizzas (obviously)… better than Pizza Express, Planet Pizza, Pizza Hut etc, etc… check out their posh pizzas and especially their yummy road to Bali one.”

Pizza Café

“Pizza Café on Queens Street is café in Newton Abbot that specialises in providing freshly made pizza and excellent customer service. Here they also sell a range of platters, wraps, nachos plus a children’s menu sold at excellent prices and provide a take away and home delivery service.”

The best independent pizza place I've been to

“I constantly recommend the Pizza Cafe to anyone who visits Newton Abbot. Every time I’ve been, it’s always been first class, from the food right down to the service and friendly atmosphere. The pizza toppings are fresh and original, with particular highlights for me being the Swedish meatballs, closely followed by duck and plum sauce! To make it even better, the Pizza Cafe deliver takeaways too... I’d choose them over Dominos every time. And if ever you’re passing by at lunch time, it’s definitely worth a visit. The pizza-style fillings are fantastic!”

I agree- brilliant cafe!

“I would give this restaurant a full five out of five, for everything it has to offer! The pizza is by far some of the most delicious in the area, and the cafe is one of the only sit down Italian restaurants in the area. The cafe also sells smoothies, at affordable prices, and although the restaurant is not formal, it has a lovely friendly vibe, which if perfect for a meal out with friends!”
