This doodle by an Irish singer is still available to buy as part of an eBay auction to raise funds for a wildlife charity.

The Gone Fishing sketch by Daniel O'Donnell, an Irish singer, television presenter and philanthropist, is awaiting a bidder after thousands of pounds were raised for Cornwall Wildlife Trust through the celebrity auction last year to raise money for its 50th anniversary.

Dania Shaw, marketing and fundraising co-ordinator for Cornwall Wildlife Trust, said: "I would really like to see Daniel O'Donnell's doodle going to a good home, while at the same time helping to raise much needed funds for the Trust. The doodle was such a huge success it is a shame that this one didn't sell."

O'Donnell came to public attention in 1983 and has since become a cultural icon in Ireland. His music has been described as a mix of country and Irish folk, and he has sold over ten million records to date. He is known for his close relationship with his fan base, as well as his engaging stage presence.

To win the signed and framed doodle, send a bid to the trust at info@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk or call 01872 273939 before March 22.
