Five-star Willand Rovers back amongst the goals
CLIVE Jones hopes Willand Rovers' emphatic Les Phillips Cup victory over Warminster Town will go some way to restoring the team's confidence.
With Lloyd Beech in goal after fireman Ryan Draper was called out at late notice, Rovers went in 0-0 at half-time, only to turn it on in style in the second period.
Goals from Kai Fisher (2), Stan Paxton (2) and Danny Jee – three of which came from Danny Baily corners – saw Jones' men through.
And Jones admits their lack of confidence was apparent in the first half.

"The win can only do some good. I have said this before but we are all so lacking in confidence that we should have been 5-1 up by half-time frankly," said Jones, whose side will play Buckland Athletic in the next round.
"When we all came in at half-time I was wondering what we could do because it was 0-0 and we couldn't find a way through.
"But it was all about staying patient and keeping the pressure on. We did well and deserved to win but made hard work of it.
"It really is down to confidence though. These players have not become bad players overnight – I am certain of it – so it has to be down to confidence.
"It is all about league points at the moment and I hope we will be able to carry some momentum into the league."
Jones' men had lost their last three, not won in six and not scored in over 400 minutes of play in the build-up to the game and, despite a dominant opening half, a goal never looked likely.
That all changed in the second half, with Fisher heading home Baily's corner at the far post to break the deadlock.
James Ansell crossed for Paxton to score before Fisher converted another Baily corner to make it three goals in five minutes for goal-shy Rovers.
Lewis Graham pulled one back, but Jee scored from yet another Baily corner before Paxton notched his second in the 85th minute. Regarding his club's tough start to the season, Jones conceded losing a host of key players has not helped his cause, but said he must take responsibility for not responding quickly to the upheaval.
"It (losing players) was hard – very hard – but I have had enough time to change things and I haven't yet," admitted Jones, who takes his side to Horndean in the FA Vase second round proper on Saturday.
"We are near the bottom because we have not been very good and I have to take responsibility for that.
"I have to get some new players and the lads know that – that is not being disrespectful to my players."
