We can't fight this bed tax on our own
WITH reference to the bedroom tax, I currently receive ESA and Disability Allowance to run my mobility car.
I can't sleep due to the worry of it all! I have missed out of being an OAP by approximately two years – I am 60 years old in April.
I think the Government played a crafty move excluding OAPs because they knew they would have a fight on their hands with so many being affected, so they have just targeted the poor and disabled who can't fight this on their own!
It would not have been so bad if they lowered the amount to pay, I have to find £43.50 a fortnight and £6.50 a fortnight council tax. How do I pay it when I only get a minimum amount to live on as it is!
