AROUND 40 youngsters each day signed on for a football roadshow held in Tiverton last week.
Mid Devon Sports Development held its last summer football roadshow at Heathcoat Primary School in Broad Lane on Monday and Tuesday.
Wendy Humphreys, from MDSD, said the events were even proving popular with families visiting the area.
She said: "We had four youngsters that don't even come from the Tiverton area.
"There are two who come and stay in Devon for the whole of the holidays. They came to a previous roadshow we held a fortnight ago and enjoyed it so much their dad asked if they could come along again.
"And there were another two youngsters who live in Oxford but are on holiday with their grandparents."
After working on their skills the youngsters received coaching from level 3 coach Darren Goff.
The next football roadshow will be held during the October half-term.
