Four-wheel drive vehicle stolen and set alight
A vehicle was stolen and set on fire in a car park during the early hours of this morning.
One fire crew from Axminster was sent to a report of a Land Rover Discovery on fire at Axminster Railway Station at 4am.

On arrival firefighters found the vehicle in the railway car park well alight.
Two breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets were put to use to extinguish the fire, which left the 4x4 90 per cent damaged.

Devon County Council were called to clear glass left over from the burnt out vehicle.
The Land Rover was taken away on a recovery vehicle at 5.30am.
Police say they are treating the fire as arson and are investigating.
