First wobbly steps for baby giraffe at zoo
Soft, large, brown inquisitive eyes stare out from under sweeping dark eyelashes.
At nearly six feet tall this new-born giraffe is today taking its first wobbly steps around Paignton Zoo.
The as yet un-named calf was born at the Devon attraction during the early hours of yesterday.
Zookeepers are now keeping a close eye on the new arrival, who arrived at around 6am to mother Sangha and father Yoda.

Staff have not been able to get close enough to the baby to tell if it is male or female.
Neil Bemment, curator of mammals at the zoo, said: "This is the first time we have had the mother give birth in the herd.
"It means that the youngster is out and about within hours of being born."
The new baby joins other Rothschild's giraffes at the site – the species is classed and endangered.
