Four-year-old seriously hurt in car crash on Devon and Cornwall border
A four-year-old boy is seriously ill in hospital after a car crashed and overturned on the Devon and Cornwall border.
Ambulance, police and fire crews were all sent to the accident scene on the A3072 at Launcells, between Bude and Holsworthy, on Saturday lunchtime.

Firefighters from Bude, Bodmin and Holsworthy worked to free one of the occupants of the wrecked blue Honda Jazz.
"On arrival crews confirmed that one vehicle had been involved in a collision and was on its roof," a spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.

"Two casualties had been released from the vehicle prior to fire service arrival but there was a further casualty still within the vehicle. Crews released the casualty from the vehicle using small tools."
The air ambulance flew the four-year-old to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
Police said the boy had later been transferred to Frenchay Hospital, in Bristol, with what officers described as "life threatening injuries".
This morning police say the young boy has sustained a serious head injury and the woman serious back injuries.
The two casualties were the only occupants of the car.
